The Emsland Group exhibited at an open, clear and clean booth at FiE 2015, with the slogan “Clear and Clean Up Your Labels.” Visitors were given professional advice from the many experts on-hand, especially from the specialists from the sales and application technology divisions. Many of the visitors were able to sample products and attend live cooking demonstrations from the cooperative company Amodori and were able to be directly convinced about the products of the Emsland Group.
This is my warriors at the FIE in Paris, and I'm here with Thomas Puter from Emsland and Ems are highlighting a number of clean and clear concepts here at the show.
Thomas, tell me a little bit about some of the trends that are happening and what you're presenting here.
Yeah, definitely the trend.
To use more clean and clear ingredients is is definitely there at the exhibition and we have products like the fibers, proteins, clean labels, starches, etc.
Which are completely inside that trend.
And we like to highlight some of our products which you could do with our label products.
So what are, what are some examples of that of the ingredients that you're highlighting here?
For example, we have a peat protein called MOE 86 HB there, which we could use in different applications.
There we have some examples here on the table.
For example, this, protein excluded products, so without any cereal, it's gluten-free, protein-based, high protein.
This could be taken as cereals for the morning as a replacement of typical cereals and also for example for sport, nutrition things for nutrition for elderly people could be a really good application for time.
There's another form like this flakes which may be used for the corn flakes, but these are also completely based on pea protein.
And other examples for to label are this chips, they're completely without any number inside, so no emerging fire, no hydroponics, etc.
OK.
And you're also doing some, some development here at the show together with the chef.
What, what are some of the things that you're working on?
Another quite innovative product based on our pea protein are this meat analogs here.
There are different types of products, styles and they're completely vegan without any meat inside, different taste direction, but are the taste directions of that?
I think it's a kind of poultry chicken antelope meat, and this one is, it's cut it, it's yeah, cut it.
What else are you working on, Thomas, and what else are you?
Here at the show, I think very, very important for the labor trend is also our development on the fiber side, fiber which could bind water or fat inside there, and our new innovative product is a really fine fiber called Mfiber EF60 and this fiber could be used to bind water and every kind of meat application instead of hydropos like car.
OK, Thomas, thank you very much.
