Bühler: Unlocking puffing technology for optimized costs and healthier cereal and snacks

Christoph Vogel, head of Business Development for Human Nutrition, discusses Bühler’s recent acquisition of Swiss company Cerex’s puffing technology. He highlights its use in grains like wheat and oats to create clean-label, low-fat, low-salt, and low-sugar products. Vogel also explains how it allows manufacturers to optimize costs by “aerating” chocolate bars for increased volume and reducing sugar and chocolate content.
