Kristin Thees, business development manager at Bösch Boden Spies details the company’s cooperation with its suppliers in sustainability, reliable sourcing and customized services, culminating in the joint participation with its partners at the ANUGA trade show, held recently. Together with its partner Blue Diamond, Bösch Boden Spies launched snack almonds with new flavors, such as salt and vinegar and a “Bratwurst style.”

What are you showcasing at the show this year?
We are here this year with our main supplier, for example spray.
We're just here to bring our customers together with our suppliers and Yeah, to connect them and have meetings together.
Great.
And what are some of your newest products?
Oh, we recently have our partner Blue Diamond here who recently launched a new snack almonds with different flavors, for example, salt and vinegar, and, but they also, which is really interesting, they also created a special anua edition this year.
So we also have a fun almond, which is the bratwurst.
OK, nice, interesting.
And we were talking earlier a bit about trends that are relevant for your company.
Can you explain a bit on that?
Yeah, so each year we look into the different market trends and translate them for our company, and we see the most important topics or key messages in sustainability.
So we always connect with our suppliers to help them or tell them about the different regulations here in Europe.
About what's happening in the market and what is necessary, what they need to do, and this is one of it, reliable sourcing is a key topic for us this year.
We have many suppliers from different parts of the world and we refer to our suppliers as partners.
So we have one of our suppliers, Sunset, for example, we have a cooperation already for 100 years this year, so this is also really exciting.
Yeah, so reliable sourcing is very important which you can also see during the COVID crisis.
So now we really enjoy having customers and suppliers together and let them connect as so.
Really nice here at the Annuga and our, our last topic is customized services in Hamburg.
We are part of the food harbor where we support different startups but also companies to.
Bring new products to the market, so some hobbies we help them is create different recipes, but also we accompany smaller production for customers that don't have a small production area.
