Industry has gathered at the 25th anniversary of the SupplySide West trade show, which spotlighted how the health and nutrition industry has evolved over the last quarter of a century. There was a whole host of product launches and a sharpened focus on alternative proteins, the plant-based space, sports nutrition, botanicals, snackable creations and new flavors.
FoodIngredientsFirst was on the show floor of SIAL 2022 (October 15 - 19). The event highlighted trends and NPD shaping and inspiring the agri-food industry to transform food ecosystems for better health for people and the planet. Among key themes were functional drinks, the no-alcohol trend, alternative proteins, dairy development, and international flavors.
