The Market Potential for Innovative Organic Biscuits

Lambertz has launched an entirely organic range of products for the first time. Wolfgang Siegel says: “in the last few years we have seen that the organic market is strong and growing steadily.” The company has added to its milk and dark chocolate Bio Hafer cookies by offering an “un-chocolate” option with superfoods quinoa, chia, and amaranth. The packaging of this organic line now shows “the logo directly on the green line, so that it is clear for the shopper that this is an organic line,” Siegel explains. Also part of the new range are Bio Cookies in new flavors, such as Apple & Chia, Matcha, which combines the classic tea flavor with chocolate, and Mint, Melissa & Calendula. This range will soon be available in Germany, Europe and the US.
