Manufacturer of “hazardously sour” candy, Candy Dynamics says kids are big into sour and fused flavors. With products branded as Toxic Waste and Smog Balls, President Laura King says that the foul-sounding names appeal to children who seek to be “edgy.” King also explains a key cultural difference in the Middle East, which led the company to rename its “toxic” flagship product.
