Repositioning a food innovation network

Foodvalley is the primary knowledge-intensive agrifood ecosystem in the Netherlands. This ecosystem is characterized by many world class innovative agrifood and food-related solutions and by the cooperation between companies, knowledge institutions, education and governments. The cluster initiative has now undergone a repositioning for a greater emphasis on collaboration. FoodIngredientsFirst spoke with Director Roger van Hoesel about the background to the shift and the key themes discussed at this year's Foodvalley Summit, where the emphasis was on proteins and sports nutrition.
