Genuine Coconut is an organic coconut water that is offered in its shell with an easy opening ringpull system. The biodegradable ring is made from recycled coconut husk fiber and natural resin. Carlos Amoros of Genuine Coconut explains the concept: “Our idea was to launch what for us was the best coconut available on the market. It was about not touching the coconut itself and bring it as natural as possible in a virtually untouched form. We bring the whole coconut from Thailand and we process it at our factory in Spain, where we do the husking, peel it and insert the patented plug in system.” He adds: “Our idea was to make something premium, as there are several coconut waters on the market, mainly made by concentrate or pasteurization, but we wanted to do something completely fresh. "
