Creating a Super Authentic Coconut Water

This is our wires at the CL in Paris, and I'm here with Carlos Amoros from Genuine Coconut, and the company has launched a really interesting concept here where they're, we're really positioning a coconut water product on a really authentic and raw format.
Carlos, can you explain a bit about your product and how it meets today's trends?
OK, so we, our idea with Jeremy Coconut was to to launch on the market.
What for us was the best coconut water that you can drink, so the idea was to try to don't touch the coconut not to bring as natural as possible and and if possible, completely untouched.
So we, we bring the whole coconut from Thailand and we process in Europe.
In our factory in Spain where we made the dehusking, we peel it and we plug the EC system that has been patented worldwide.
Can you explain a bit more about this plugging system because I guess that's the key innovation here, really.
This plug system is made by robo robots.
This is an innovation made by a precise slicer that makes a pre-cut and plug the pull up in the shell.
Once you pull up the pull up, the shell is broken, and you can access inside the coconut with the straw.
Until this moment, the coconut water is intact.
It's it's coming natural.
OK, and where your coconuts are all sourced from Thailand.
All the coconuts are coming from Thailand.
It's from the barrio that is considered the best quality in the world by by his flavor and his taste.
And obviously coconut water is still quite a big trend now in Europe.
It's been around for quite a while, but, but you think maybe the way to stand out is through getting a bit more authentic because that that's really your position here.
Our idea was to, to, to make something premium.
No, because there's a lot of coconut water in the market, mainly made by by concentrated pasteurized and.
We want to do something completely different, something real, real coconut water, exactly the same as you can drink in Asia or in the Caribbean when you go on holiday.

And which countries is it available in so far at the moment?
It's available around Europe, in most of the countries.
We are also exporting now to Emirates.
We are preparing for next year to launch in the United States and Canada.
