Solanic BV Achieves BRC Certification
The factory was positively audited by Lloyd’s against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 6), and as a result was finally awarded the Certificate of Approval in March 2012.
4 May 2012 --- Solanic B.V. has been awarded the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Certificate of Approval for food safety.
In February 2012, a BRC audit was performed at the Solanic factory in Gasselternijveen, the Netherlands.
The factory was positively audited by Lloyd’s against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 6), and as a result was finally awarded the Certificate of Approval in March 2012.

The BRC Standard is globally accepted for certifying the production of a safe and quality assured food.
The BRC standard requires a.o. strict quality assurance and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) systems to be in place. Certified products are safe for the consumer and also produced responsibly considering production, personnel and the environment.
