Galactic to Expand its Operations in Latin America

Galactic has had a presence in Latin America for years through long terms relationships with end users and strategic partnerships. Those partnerships will be strengthened and will be better supported by an office located in the area.

10 Sep 2012 --- Galactic continues its strategic expansion with the opening of a coordination office in Latin America. Located in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, the office will service and develop Galactic’s existing Latin American business and provide a foothold location for continued expansion throughout the continent.

Galactic produces quality lactic acid and derivatives through natural fermentation and purification process. Leading North and Latin American food processing companies use Galactic lactic acid (Galacid), lactates (Galaflow), blends (Galimax) and other derivatives (Galasolv, Promeat,…) to create unique flavor profiles, bring essential nutrients, reduce non desirable elements, guarantee food safety and shelf-life extension.

The Galactic team will be attending the FISA in São Paulo (September 18 to 20) Hall 1 – Stand 83 as well as Food technology Summit in Mexico on September 26 and 27.
