Fenchem to Launch Enzyme Products for Food Processing Industry
Fenchem will launch a series of enzyme products to serve the food processing industry in the coming Fi Asia Indo, named FenlyaseTM, including Transglutaminase, Lipase and Papain.
10 Sep 2012 --- Growing attentions are being paid to emerging challenges within food processing industry to satisfy the increasing demands. Enzyme is making more and more appearance in this area for its safety, low dosage, high potency and etc.
Fenchem will launch a series of enzyme products to serve the food processing industry in the coming Fi Asia Indo, named FenlyaseTM, including Transglutaminase, Lipase and Papain. Transglutaminase is used to bond proteins together, which can be used as a binding agent to improve the texture of protein-rich foods, like meat restructuring, imitation crabmeat and fish balls. Lipase is an enzyme which can breakdown the lipids into fatty acids, diglyceride, monoglyceride and glycerol. It can be applied in baking industry to improve the texture and flavor. Papain is one of most common protease. It can be widely applied in food processing, like baking, meat tenderizing and brewing. Fenchem provides FenlyaseTM with various enzyme activities, as well as know-how solutions.
Enzymes, mostly proteins, are catalysts accelerating chemical reactions and they are widely applied in almost all aspects of modern food production. No matter in traditional processing like brewing and cheese-making, nor novel products processing like baking and meat processing, enzyme is playing a more and more important role. There are several characteristic properties associated with enzyme products in food processing, like low dosage, high potency, selectivity and etc.
Fenchem has been specialized in developing, manufacturing and marketing active ingredients for 17 years, serving the food, dietary supplements and functional food industries. Besides the raw materials, Fenchem provides know-how solutions with abundant experiences in these areas. Welcome to our booth, C18 in Fi Asia Indo on Oct. 3-5, 2012 for more information.
