Fortitech Europe appoints new Managing Director

07/09/05 Fortitech Europe ApS, part of the global network of manufacturing and distribution companies of Fortitech, Inc., the world leader in the development of custom nutrient premixes, announced the appointment of Peter Sorensen as managing director. Peter will be responsible for managing all aspects of Fortitech Europe’s operations including manufacturing, technical, purchasing, finance and sales.

With more than 20 years of experience, Peter has a successful track record of product development, sales and marketing throughout a wide range of industries. He has led the strategic planning for various market segments and developed and managed key accounts in Europe and the United States.  He most recently served as managing director of the industrial adhesives sector of Akzo Nobel Group based in the Netherlands. Peter has worked in several multinational corporations based in Denmark, and as an expatriate in the United States, United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy and Egypt.

Peter Sorensen received a Master’s of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Denmark’s Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from the Copenhagen Business School.
