Essentia Expand Protein Offerings with Organic Beef Products

22 Feb 2017 --- Essentia Protein Solutions, North America have announced the expansion of its ingredient portfolio to include grass-fed, USDA-certified organic beef broth products.

The new beef items will join the organic chicken and NAE poultry (No Antibiotic Ever) lines to significantly increase Essentia’s line of clean label protein solutions.

Organic meat retail sales have outpaced the overall meat market in recent years which has driven the need for new ingredient solutions. 

Corey Jansen, President of Essentia Protein Solutions for North America told FoodIngredientsFirst: “The sales of organic food products in North America are growing rapidly in the retail and food service channels. As consumers look to purchase more organic products, we want to be able to offer our customers new ingredient solutions that allow them to take advantage of this growing trend.”  

“In addition to the new organic beef broth products, we also launched our organic chicken broth products in late 2016,” he explains. “Our organic broth proteins are a real food ingredient solution for adding protein, flavor and a clean-label to a variety of food and nutritional products.”    

Essentia’s new and existing beef ingredients are 100% natural, contain no added MSG and are non-allergenic. The products are frequently used to add flavor and protein to a variety of food and nutritional products.
