Eko Natura – New Biodegradable Bags

27/10/08 The Sarantis concern, owner of the well-known in Poland “Jan Niezbedny” brand is launching Eko natura bags, an innovative range of bin bags made of biodegradable film.
The self-degradable bags produced using eco-friendly oxo-degradation technology are marked with the registered d2w logo, which means that the film can either self-degrade thanks to a special additive or be recycled in the conventional way.
Only certified manufacturers can use d2w additives and are able to offer a wide range of products which degrade in all environments without leaving harmful substances.
So far, oxo-degradable packaging with d2w has been used by such concerns as Inditex Group (ZARA), KFC, WWF, Marks&Spencer, SONY, TESCO, WalMart, Cadbury, C&A ,Marriott and Coty.
