BAX System Receives Certification in Russia
Following the results of ROSPOTEBNADZOR certification, guidelines were approved and put into effect so that the BAX system now can be used by the Russian food industry.
03/12/08 Last week, DuPont Qualicon announced that the BAX system, an innovative, rapid method for microbiological testing in food, has been approved by the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service (ROSPOTEBNADZOR) for use in Russia.
Following the results of ROSPOTEBNADZOR certification, guidelines were approved and put into effect so that the BAX system now can be used by the Russian food industry, including food quality control laboratories and veterinary laboratories.
“The developing Russian food industry needs modern diagnostic systems that provide for prompt food and ingredients quality control,” said Doris Engesser-Sudlow, business director, DuPont Qualicon, Europe. “Our goal is to help producers increase their operation’s efficiency and profitability. Obtaining the ROSPOTEBNADZOR certification provides official recognition of the BAX system and establishes its reputation in the Russian market.”
