Wouter Floot of Tradin Organic notes the rise of coconut based product, which benefit from containing healthy fats. “We see a lot of trends in the uptake of organic ingredients, especially in the superfoods space, which includes coconut. We see it all around us in different forms and we as a company are quite active in developing liquid coconut sugar, which we import as a raw sugar and process into a liquid sugar,” he says.
