Utepils Brewing Begins Construction on New Facility

Residents of North Minneapolis in the Bryn Mawr, Harrison and surrounding neighborhoods are now seeing the transformation of the former Glenwood-Inglewood bottling plant into Utepils Brewing Company.

Plans for the European-inspired craft brewery were approved by the City of Minneapolis in early April. Construction crews will be working hard throughout the summer to get the equipment installed and taproom ready to open by late summer.

To celebrate, a groundbreaking ceremony and construction tour will occur on Thursday April 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. with members of the management team; Minneapolis Ward 5 Council Member Blong Yang; and Hennepin County Commissioner Linda Higgins. Other community and elected leaders have been invited as well.
