UK Launch for Super Bock

01 May 2015---Portuguese lager Super Bock will be available to independent stores through wholesalers and cash and carries from the beginning of this month (May).

It follows a deal by marketing company Brookfield Drinks to import the 5% ABV brew from Portugal that was announced in January.

Brookfield managing director Nigel McNally said the beer would appeal to two key audiences – 18-year-olds who had sampled the beer while eating at Nando’s restaurants, and drinkers over the age of 35 who had experienced it while on holiday in Portugal, where it is the number one beer.

He added: “It’s a real coup for Brookfield Drinks and we’re looking forward to a long-term relationship with the producers.”

Super Bock will be available in 4x333ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £5 a pack.
