Solbar Chooses New Distributors
The move is the next stage in its business re-organization, reaching agreements with three major distribution channels in France, Benelux and Scandinavia
Solbar Industries Ltd. has announced the next stage in its business re-organization, reaching agreements with three major distribution channels in France, Benelux and Scandinavia for Solbar full range of specialty functional soy protein concentrates and isolates and textured products.
Soussana S.A., the largest company of the Danish Crown – DAT Schaub Group, is Solbar's partner in France. Alain Foussoux and his professional team at Soussana share nearly two decades of experience in soy proteins, natural casings and other food ingredients, a matter of great importance to Solbar. Per an exceptional marketing agreement, Solbar will continue to cooperate with long-time colleague, MCM Casings, for a number of select accounts in the French market.
Caldic Ingredients BV was founded in 1932 as Ferdiwo, dealing with food and feed ingredients and additives. “After extensive discussions with Roland Theeuwes and Koen van Aesch, Solbar is convinced that Caldic Ingredients does not just re-sell ingredients, but offers value added solutions; an important asset to Solbar's loyal customer base in the Benelux countries,” says Gary Brenner, VP Marketing & Sales at Solbar.
Danetto Food ApS, established in 1994, has developed into a key supplier to meat, poultry and seafood manufacturers in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Solbar's relationship with soy industry veteran John Johnke was a key factor in the decision, knowing well his proven ability to provide customers with the most competent technical service covering all aspects of food.
According to Brenner, "the expert team of distributors to the food industry was assembled together with Solbar's Consultant for New Business Development, Jose Cadillac. During the next few weeks we will be making another announcement regarding additional changes in Solbar's distribution channels in Europe."
