Sidney Frank Importing Co. Named Exclusive U.S. Importer and Distributor of Sortilege Whisky
23 Jan 2014 --- Sidney Frank Importing Company, Inc., and Spirits by Maison des Futailles L.P. of Montreal, Canada jointly announce that Sidney Frank Importing Company, Inc. will become the exclusive importer and distributor of Sortilege in the United States, effective immediately.
Sortilege, meaning “magic spell,” is a unique blend of Canadian rye whisky and pure maple syrup. Created from the richness and authenticity of the Quebec countryside, this remarkably fine liqueur follows a traditional recipe that strikes the perfect balance between the heady strength of Canadian whisky and the rich, golden flavor of all-natural maple syrup.
The idea of combining whisky and maple syrup has been around in Canada for hundreds of years, though Mondia Alliance has refined the process to achieve perfect harmony between the two ingredients. The maple syrup in Sortilege is classified asCanada #1 – Extra Clear, the highest grade of maple syrup recognized as a natural, high-quality authentic product containing no colorings or additives. This syrup is expertly blended with real Canadian whiskey that has been distilled to the highest standards using only 100% rye grain and aged in hand-selected white oak barrels for a minimum of three years resulting in an exceptionally smooth finish.
