Sabine Sagaert Joins Cargill as General Manager of Malt Operations in Europe

6/24/2011 --- Cargill announced that Sabine Sagaert has joined Cargill Malt as the general manager of malt operations in Europe. Sagaert succeeds Alain Dufait, who has taken a position with Cargill’s Starches and Sweeteners business in Europe.

Sagaert comes to Cargill with more than 10 years of experience in the brewing industry. She previously worked with Interbrew/Inbev in a number of roles, including general manager, marketing director, and business president for Belgium and Luxemburg. Most recently, she was the chief executive officer for the dental division of a well-known healthcare organization.

She has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Leuven, and additional degrees in marketing, economics and fiscal law.
