Following the growth of the company's flagship, Pisco Portón Mosto Verde, the rise of its newest offering, La Caravedo Quebranta, and increased US consumer demand for high quality pisco, the company is providing an additional expression designed to fulfill consumers' tastes and round out the existing company portfolio. All expressions are produced by renowned pisco authority and Pisco Portón's Master Distiller Johnny Schuler at Hacienda La Caravedo located in Ica, Peru which was established in 1684. Pisco Portón Acholado is a pisco acholado, which means it is a blend of two or more of the eight grape varietals allowed by Peruvian law to make pisco. Pisco Portón Acholado is a smooth, delicate blend of three estate-grown grapes (quebranta, italia, and torontel). Master Distiller Johnny Schuler's artistry and deep experience create a unique blend that is versatile, mixable, and pairs well with a variety of flavors.
