Mr Wang-bing, General Manager of the Beijing ZTNoah company, adds: “At Beijing ZTNoah we pride ourselves on developing sports nutrition products of the highest quality. That’s why we selected PeptoPro as the key ingredient in Madier. We were particularly impressed with the results of recent trials which showed PeptoPro could aid muscle recovery after exercise. Madier combines this effective mix of simple and complex carbohydrates with protein to offer athletes a convenient and excellent way to better recovery, enhanced endurance and improved performance.”
Commenting on the launch, Michael Zheng, China market development manager DSM Food Specialties, remarks: "With the Beijing Olympics getting ever closer, this is an excellent opportunity for PeptoPro. Madier has already been tried and tested by the Chinese Olympic team and we are excited about its future at the games.”
DSM Food Specialties’ PeptoPro is a peptide based on natural milk protein. Due to its small chains of di- and tri-peptides, it can be fully and rapidly absorbed by the body without adversely affecting the digestive system. Its amino acids are therefore made available to the muscles considerably faster than if conventional sources of protein are consumed.
DSM Food Specialties is currently sponsoring the PeptoPro clinical trial study – results from which will be announced at the 8th China sports science summit, which is being held in Beijing between the 17th and 19th of October 2007.
