Nissin Foods USA shakes up breakfast with cup noodles that taste like pancakes, sausage and egg
30 Mar 2023 --- Nissin Foods USA is stirring up morning appetites with the launch of its Cup Noodles Breakfast, the first ramen product designed for “the most important meal of the day.” The new limited-edition flavor is available exclusively at Walmart and the company expects the unexpected flavor combination to be a popular hit.
Whether an early bird or a night owl, Nissin Foods says its Cup Noodles Breakfast has an “all-day breakfast experience covered.”
The company’s latest offering blends ramen with breakfast flavors, including pancakes, maple syrup, sausage and eggs.
The Cup Noodles Breakfast is ready to eat in just four minutes and served in the brand’s iconic cup packaging, making it easy to enjoy on the go or at home.
Round-the-clock cravings

For more than 50 years, Nissin Foods USA has been innovating its Cup Noodles line. The company also debuted its limited-edition portfolio in 2021 to “excite and surprise consumers through unexpected flavor profiles.”
Cup Noodles Breakfast marks the brand’s second limited-edition flavor, following the launch of Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice.

Kemin Industries developed VALTEQ, a line of quality improvers for instant noodle manufacturers. The liquid product line uses emulsifier solutions to increase consumers’ overall instant noodle-eating experience by addressing some of the everyday challenges facing manufacturers.
Last August, we reported that the Thai government was pressured to raise prices as inflation and the cost of staple ingredients increased.
Five of the country’s largest producers of instant noodles demanded that governments allow them to increase the price of the food item.
Noodle prices have been an unmovable object since 2008, with manufacturers warning of unsustainable prices – even claiming to be selling at a loss – forcing them to petition authorities to allow a 33% price increase – from 6 to 8 baht (US$0.17 to US$0.23).
