Nexira Receives GRAS Status For Flavor Stabilizer
05 May 2015 --- US natural ingredients company Nexira has received FEMA GRAS status (# 4820) for purified damar gum to be used as a flavor stabilizer in the US. Damar gum is a unique, natural flavor stabilizer for the flavor and beverage industries thanks to its plant-based origin, functional properties, easy to use and resistance to oxidation.
Nexira secures the supply chain from raw material sourcing in to production of the purified damar gum in France.
Celebrating its 120 the anniversary as a successful family-owned business, the launch of Damar-Ez in the US is part of Nexira’s innovation strategy to expand its product portfolio of high quality, innovative and natural ingredients.
Nexira will promote Damar-Ez and its wide range of natural solutions for the flavor industry at IFT Food Expo in July.
