Nestlé launches Lindahls Kvarg in the UK

In response to this growing consumer trend of mindful eating, Nestlé has brought the Lindahls Kvarg range to the UK, which includes Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Single Pots, Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Natural and Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Drinks.

Paul Wiseman, Marketing Manager at Lactalis Nestlé UK, says: “We couldn’t be more excited to be bringing Sweden’s favorite quark product to UK consumers.  Janet Aylott, a nutritionist, also noted: “Protein is an essential nutrient in our diets. As part of a varied diet and healthy lifestyle, protein contributes to the maintenance of our muscles and is also important for bone health too. Every cell and tissue in the body contains protein. Therefore protein is essential for growth and repair, with a large proportion of protein in our bodies found in muscle (around 43 percent).”

“Protein is an important source of energy in the diet, providing up to 15 percent of our calorie intake, and is the second most abundant compound in the body after water. The new Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg range is a great addition to the balanced diet and healthy lifestyle more of us are aiming for,” Aylott explains.

Available in three flavors – Vanilla, Raspberry, Peach and Passion Fruit – the new Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg 150g pots contain 17g of protein per pot but are also low-sugar and fat-free. Developed to help contribute to a balanced, healthier diet, the new single pots are ideal as a snack to get a protein boost after a workout.

Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Natural
 Available in a 500g pot, Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Natural has been created for the whole family to enjoy plain, or as an alternative to Greek yogurt or cream cheese. Low sugar, fat-free and with 30g of protein per ½ pot.

Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Drinks
Available in two flavors – Peach & Passion Fruit, Raspberry & Vanilla – the new products are available in 330ml bottles and contain 23g of protein per bottle. Perfect for those who enjoy an active lifestyle, the new drinks can be used as an alternative to protein shakes, or as part of a balanced diet. As well as being high in protein, the Nestlé Lindahls Kvarg Drinks are low fat and lactose-free.

These products will be available in Asda, Waitrose and Ocado in the UK.
