22 Feb 2021 --- The ubiquitous term “natural” on food packaging is “misleading” European consumers, according to a cross-party coalition of 31 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). The MEPs have joined forces in a letter addressed to European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakides that urges the development of a clear “natural” definition and stringent legislation to regulate the use of this term for food products.
