Main Street Ingredients Undergoes Rebranding to Agropur Ingredients

26 June 2013 --- Agropur Cooperative, leader in the Canadian dairy industry, announced today the rebranding of its La Crosse, WI-based Main Street Ingredients to Agropur Ingredients which will also serve as the center of operations for promotion of the newly aligned ingredient portfolio.

Agropur Ingredients will host a contemporary line of products and services that cover the broad spectrum of demand surrounding the nutritional, dairy, bakery, beverage and cheese industries such as: Cornerstone Proteins, Keystone Stabilizer Systems, Capstone Anti-Caking Agents, Crino Premium Dairy Ingredients, IsoChill Value-Added Ingredients, their new generation of ingredients, BakiGen™ Bakery Ingredients and DariGen Select Specialty Powders, as well as PZ- 44 and Reddi-Sponge Dough Conditioners.

As Vice President of the Business Unit Ingredients for Agropur, Reneck Cayen will be responsible for the marketing of the newly established Agropur Ingredients umbrella brand. “Over the past four years we have significantly grown our ingredients portfolio through selective acquisitions in the US. It became clear that in order to serve as the best possible resource for our customers it was time to take advantage of our synergies and present a unified vision.” Cayen stated of the rebranding.

Legal transition will be official July 8, 2013. New logos and brands will be progressively released to customers throughout the summer and fall months of 2013. Public launch of the new branding is set to take place at the 2013 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo, held in Chicago, IL July 14-16. New website launch www.agropuringredients.com is set for summer of 2013.
