09/08/06 Liberty Imports USA, Inc., has announced the nationwide launch of Brazil Gourmet Acai Nectar, a premium all-natural drink made from the acai berry and featuring more antioxidants than any other similar ready-to-drink beverage.
"The acai berry is a real miracle of the Amazon," company executive Simone Anewalt said. "It contains more antioxidants than any other fruit on the planet -- 57 percent more than pomegranates." Additionally, independent testing by Brunswick Laboratories shows that Brazil Gourmet Acai Nectar has over 21 percent more antioxidants per eight-ounce serving than the next highest ready-to-drink acai beverage tested, the company reported.
