Studies have reported the Slendesta ingredient to be effective in promoting satiety, managing hunger and helping people lose weight.
Feb 1 2012 --- Kemin is pleased to announce that Fullbar, the fast-growing brand of weight management products created by noted bariatric surgeon Dr. Michael Snyder, will feature Slendesta Potato Extract in its new, reformulated products. Slendesta is an all-natural, specialized potato protein that helps people control hunger naturally and feel full longer.
Launched nationwide last month, Fullbar’s line of products with Slendesta includes bars, ready-to-drink shakes, chewable gummies, gum and supplement capsules. All products tout new packaging that prominently features the Slendesta trademark.
“We are very pleased that an innovative company like Fullbar, which is working to meet consumer demand for products containing safe and natural ingredients, is adding Slendesta to its product line,” stated Linda Fullmer, senior vice president of the human nutrition and health division. “Making healthy choices isn’t always easy as busy schedules leave little time and consideration for weight management. Slendesta helps dieters stay naturally in control of their hunger, allowing them to safely work toward their weight loss goals.”
Slendesta is a well-researched ingredient that has shown positive benefits in human clinical studies with over 500 participants, collectively. Studies have reported the Slendesta ingredient to be effective in promoting satiety, managing hunger and helping people lose weight. Slendesta is all-natural and stimulant-free and doesn’t cause jitters, bloating, or other side effects commonly associated with some other weight management ingredients. Slendesta is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) for a variety of food and beverage products in the U.S. and is considered a non-Novel Food ingredient in Europe and Canada. It is produced in a Kemin NSF and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certified manufacturing facility in Des Moines, Iowa.
