Forst Harmonizes "1857" Brand with Labels by CCL
South Tyrol brewery Forst has made some major packaging changes for their 1857 brand. Thanks to CCLs WashOff technology all Forst 1857 now appear in a refreshed look whether one-way or returnable.
The newly designed individual bottle with decorative shoulder embossing is now equipped with reverse printed pressure sensitive labels. CCLs unique technology allows printing the design on uncoated face stock from the back before applying the adhesive. Thereby the elegant Forst 1857 design in gold and black is perfectly protected against scratches and scuffing while giving the label a sophisticated brilliance with the film laying over the print.
But Forst’s recent switch to WashOff is more than just a visual refreshment: compared to previously used decorations (both standard PSL and paper) the new labels can be washed off in common industrial bottle washers.
Thanks to this well-proven CCL technology, after market return the labels remove easily and efficiently from the bottles just with the help of hot water and without polluting the bath in the bottle washer. This saves energy, water and time as the washing bath has to be renewed less frequently compared to washing off paper labels.
