FACT Foods and Bianca Pasta to launch new line of fresh pastas and sauces
The new line of high-fiber, carbohydrate-conscious fresh pastas and sauces would be launched under the Atkins Quick Quisine(R) label.
24/02/05 FACT Corporation, an emerging nutrition solutions company, has announced the Northeastern U.S. retail launch of a new line of high-fiber, carbohydrate-conscious fresh pastas and sauces for the second week of March 2005 under the Atkins Quick Quisine(R) label.
The product line incorporates proprietary premixes and sauce formulations specifically developed by FACT technologists for Bianca Pasta Inc., a regional fresh pasta manufacturer that has licensed the popular Atkins Quick Quisine(R) label.
The new fresh pastas will first be available at fine New York retailers including Key Food Stores Cooperative, King's Super Markets, Zabar's and Gourmet Garage. Expansion to other Northeast retailers is anticipated for April and May, with a goal of national distribution late in 2005.
Available varieties will initially include Four Cheese Tortellini and Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana Tortellini and Ravioli and Beef Tortellini and Ravioli, as well as four complimentary sauces: Roasted Garlic Marinara, Italian-Style Meat Sauce, Vodka Sauce and Pesto. It is anticipated that individual retailers will carry a selection from the complete product line.
