22/02/05 Australia, Evans & Tate Ltd., a small Australian winemaker, said Monday it isn't opposed to the proposed A$3.1 billion (US$2.4 billion) tie-up of much bigger local rivals Foster's Group Ltd. and Southcorp Ltd.
In fact, the Western Australian maker of brands such as Evans & Tate and Barramundi said a combination of Foster's and Southcorp has the potential to benefit the company's sales and put it on the radar of more investors.
