Emmi Acquires 34 % Stake of Bongrain in Emmi Fondue AG

30 Dec 2014 --- Emmi announces the acquisition of 34 % of Emmi Fondue AG (EFON) that the French milk processor held since late 2004.

The abandonment of this cooperation will have no impact on EFON's strategy or operations. Emmi will continue to focus on developing the processed cheese brands Gerber, Gala, Tigre, Chalet and Swiss Knight both in Switzerland and abroad.

The parties agreed not to disclose the price paid for the share package.
