Diageo Creates Asia Pacific Region
It will bring together the current Diageo International hub organisations in Asia, Greater China and Australia under a single regional executive committee led by the newly created role of President, Asia Pacific.
18/01/07 Diageo has announced the creation of Diageo Asia Pacific as the fourth Diageo region. It will bring together the current Diageo International hub organisations in Asia, Greater China and Australia under a single regional executive committee led by the newly created role of President, Asia Pacific.
John Pollaers, formerly managing director, Diageo Asia has been appointed to the position and will head Diageo’s fourth region from 1 February 2007 when the change becomes effective. John will join the Diageo Executive Committee also on 1 February 2007.

It enables us to leverage the potential of our competitive position in all markets of Asia Pacific but also to build on our existing strong performance in Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and Global Travel and Middle East hubs.’
International region (Africa, Latin America & Caribbean and Global Travel &Middle East hubs) will continue to be led at Diageo Executive level by Stuart Fletcher, president, International.
