26 Mar 2015 --- D.D. Williamson (DDW) has announced further expansion to the company with the opening of its newest production site. The production site will be dedicated to Natural Colours and will be opening its doors this April in Cork, Ireland.
This state of the art custom built production site will be focused on the manufacturing of water and oil soluble natural colours. The site will bring with it an integrated team, including R&D and Regulatory, Procurement, Sales, Marketing and an operations team.
DDW has received positive feedback from the industry for a new supplier to provide customised solutions using natural colours. With its brand new applications lab and in-house expertise, it lends the perfect opportunity for bespoke customer applications. DDW are looking forward to building and developing on EU sales with global customers.
DDW is committed to developing a full product range of core colours at this site. New innovations are always at the heart of the R&D team, and DDW welcomes participation with customers on new innovations, projects, and solutions.

Graham Merryweather, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said: “In order to continue our expansion into natural colours it is vital to have a production site in Europe. We are delighted that our new operation will be close to our caramel plant that has been selling caramel colour throughout Europe for almost 40 years. We will utilise an experienced technical and commercial team to support our customers’ new initiatives with a focus on minimally processed natural colours” –
The production site will go through a BRC audit, along with being Kosher and Halal certified.
