Danone and Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 reveal official partnership
08 Nov 2022 --- Danone is officially partnering with the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 in a collaboration to encourage people to adopt more responsible eating habits by promoting outreach efforts focusing on exercise and sustainable eating.
Danone will distribute a selection of its fresh dairy and plant-based brands, including Hipro, Actimel, Activia, Alpro and Danone, to athletes, volunteers, spectators, guests and media at sites hosting Paris 2024 events.
Danone notes that the partnership supports its strategy of returning to competitive, sustainable growth by investing in its brands.
As the Paris 2024 Games approach, the company has reaffirmed its support for healthier, more sustainable lifestyles as a legacy for generations to come.
A selection of Danone’s dairy and plant-based brands will be distributed to the athletes, volunteers and media at sites hosting Paris 2024 events.Earlier this year, Danone was involved in a price dispute with supermarket chain Delhaize following a dairy dispute that led to a lack of products on the supermarket’s shelves.
The French dairy giant was also involved in another tie-up at the beginning of the year when it joined forces with FrieslandCampina to reduce greenhouse gas emission.
Most recently, Danone decided to initiate a process to transfer the effective control of its Essential Dairy and Plant-based business in Russia.

Danone states it is keenly aware that diet and exercise are essential to better health.

He says Danone’s commitment to sustainable, local products will “meet the challenge of delivering 13 million meals during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.”
