Danisco Sweeteners wins Bronze Award from Food Processing magazine
The award comes from the publication's annual Reader's Choice Survey.
Donna Brooks, Product Manager, Danisco Sweeteners, announced that the company was recently recognized with a Bronze Award from Food Processing magazine. The publication's annual Reader's Choice Survey asks readers to vote on their favorite brands and category suppliers. Danisco Sweeteners was voted third in the category of sweeteners.
Ms. Brooks stated, “The Annual Food Processing Magazine Survey covers all size companies in the food and beverage categories and it is a significant milestone that our Division won such recognition from our valued customers and trade peers. It means we are not only capable of meeting the challenges of the highly competitive food ingredients industry, but that we are known and recognized by individuals within our industry.” In addition to the Bronze Award for Danisco Sweeteners, the Survey also ranked Danisco with Gold recognition for Stabilizers and Emulsifiers, and also a Bronze for Gums and Hydrocolloids.
Danisco Sweeteners has made it a company-wide initiative to distinguish itself as a first rate provider of customer service and support in the global foods industry. Ms. Brooks said the effort has been successful on many fronts, especially in day-to-day sales contacts, thanks to an energetic and knowledgeable sales team.
"Our philosophy has yielded a significant increase in awareness for our ingredients, as demonstrated by this Award. Given the scope and size of our competitors in this global market, the fact that we have achieved such high name recognition is truly noteworthy," Ms. Brooks added.
A formal announcement of the Reader's Choice Awards was made in the February 2006 issue of Food Processing magazine.
