Cîroc Premium Vodka Unveils Cîroc Apple Variant
20 Nov 2015 --- Luxury vodka brand, Cîroc has announced the launch of a new variant, Cîroc Apple.
The apple-infused variant hits shelves in the UK on and off-trade channels from December, in time for the Christmas and New Year celebratory period.
Cîroc Apple is the latest in a long line up of extremely successful flavour launches, most recently, Cîroc Pineapple. The new expression meets the growing consumer demand for luxury vodka, and adds diversity to the category. A versatile liquid, Cîroc Apple can be enjoyed in a selection of serve styles, with the succinct ripeness of the apple and hints of vanilla delivering a crisp finish to the five-time distilled spirit.
As the consumer trend towards sipping neat spirit serves grows, Cîroc Apple meets this occasion well, offering consumers additional choice and trade-up options from the mainstream. The new brand expression also acts as the ideal base spirit for both simple serves, such as the ‘Cîroc Big Apple’ and more complex serves, like the ‘Cîroc Apple Martini’ and is perfectly placed to add a unique twist to a classic cocktail.
Head of Diageo Reserve GB, Nick Temperley commented: “The launch of Cîroc Apple reinforces Cîroc’s credentials as a leader in luxury innovation by responding to current consumer interest in flavoured spirits. We know that 52% of white spirit drinkers choose flavoured variants², while consumer thirst for luxury vodka continues, positioning Cîroc at the forefront of this trend.
“As we enter the biggest celebratory period of the year, we hope to see the newly developed Cîroc Apple broaden the category and draw new drinkers into the luxury vodka market – in both the UK on and off-trade channels.”
The apple infused vodka is the sixth variant to join the successful seven strong line-up from the luxury vodka brand. The range includes Cîroc Ultra-Premium, Cîroc Pineapple, Cîroc Peach, Cîroc Amaretto, Cîroc Coconut and Cîroc Red Berry.
Cîroc Apple, ABV 37.5%, is available to the on and off-trade in the UK and USA from December, at £38.67 for a 70cl bottle.
