CSM Closes Down Facility in Oak Creek, US

The production of the Oak Creek facility will be migrated to four other facilities in the US over the course of 2011. The closure will involve around 100 redundancies.

2/11/2011 --- CSM has announced that it will close down its manufacturing facility in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, in the US. This closure is part of CSM's efforts to deliver on synergies within the newly formed company CSM Bakery Products, following the integration of Best Brands.

CSM has reviewed the manufacturing base of the combined companies in order to improve utilization, to reduce complexity in the supply chain and to maintain an adequate geographic footprint.

The production of the Oak Creek facility will be migrated to four other facilities in the US over the course of 2011. The closure will involve around 100 redundancies. This step concludes a comprehensive review of capabilities at all CSM Bakery Products manufacturing locations.
