CCL Container awarded the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Beverage industry innovation
The annual award recognizes companies that develop innovative products that advance the industry through performance and technology evolution.
24/05/05 CCL Container, a leading manufacturer of specialty aluminum packaging, received the 2005 Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Differentiation Innovation for its aluminum bottle development capabilities. The annual award recognizes companies that develop innovative products that advance the industry through performance and technology evolution.
"The aluminum bottle is quick chilling, recyclable, durable, has an effective light barrier to maintain taste and quality, and a wide range of distinctive decorating and shaping options" said Mark Goda, Director Research & Development, CCL Container.
As the first to feature the snap-top can and the twist-off cap, Iron City is an iconic brand with a long-standing reputation for packaging innovation. Now it introduces the aluminum bottle on a national scale.
Last fall CCL received a Bronze Award in the Food and Beverage category from the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club for the bottle, and in December Business Week magazine named it one of the 10 best products of 2004.
