C&C Group Launches International Wine Services to Market the Oliver & Greg's Wine Brand

12 Aug 2013 --- The C&C Group, manufacturer, marketer and distributer of branded beer and ciders, Magners, Gaymers and Tennent's, has launched International Wine Services to manage and market its newly acquired On Trade wine portfolio, which includes the popular Oliver & Greg's range.

Earlier this year, the C&C group purchased the rights to the Oliver & Greg's brand, as part of a portfolio of wine and spirit brands to support their multi-beverage proposition.

I.W.S was established to manage and develop the range exclusively in the On Trade market. Leading with the flagship Oliver & Greg's brand, the I.W.S portfolio also includes a further eight specially selected worldwide wine brands offering customers a range of good quality, easy drinking wines that also offer great value for money for customers.

'We are delighted to be leading the development of the C&C Group's wine portfolio in the on-trade,' explains Shaun Goode, Commercial Director, I.W.S. 'We are really excited to have such a well known and successful brand as Oliver & Greg's to bring to retailers, who are already reacting enthusiastically to this development by the C&C Group.

'Some customers can find that selecting the right wine range for their outlet is a bit daunting, with so many products on the market,' he continued. 'By offering a respected branded range covering all the popular varietals and with the option for single serve sizes too, we can really make it very easy. A customer can be reassured that they will have something to suit everyone and that it will also be affordable.'

Within the extended world wide range, variants include the award winning Trulli Pinot Grigio from Italy and the Moondarra Australian Chardonnay.

The full range, including Oliver & Greg's will now be supplied either direct to existing Tennent's customers in Scotland and Northern Ireland, or via partner wholesalers in England, Scotland and Wales.
