Bestway Builds Up Its Wine Collection
05 Feb 2016 --- Bestway Wholesale has introduced four new lines to help its retailers keep up with the latest trends in the wine market.
The company has launched Royal Prosecco as well as a range of everyday Spanish wines under the Toro Riendo label and a full-bodied Rioja, called Villa Principal. These are being complemented by an exclusive agreement to sell the Cellier D’Or range of French wines in the UK.
Royal Prosecco retails at £7.49 a bottle and, said licensed category controller Roopinder Toor, offers a margin of 17.25%. Villa Principal Rioja Tempranillo retails at £6.49 and delivers a margin of 20%.
The Toro Riendo (Laughing Bull) range includes five variants – dry, medium and sweet whites, a medium-bodied red and a medium-dry rosé. Cellier D’Or comprises red, white and rosé variants.
Both Toro Riendo and Cellier D’Or retail at £4.79 and offer a margin of 16%, said Toor.
Royal Prosecco and Villa Principal Rioja are being discounted in Bestway and Batleys depots throughout February by £1 a case to £29.99 and £24.99 respectively.
