ADM-Benson Quinn to Construct Grain Elevator in Tulare, S.D.
The Tulare elevator will be located at U.S. Highway 281 and state Route 28 and will be constructed of concrete and steel. The facility will include a 10,000 bushel per-hour dryer and efficient truck unloading and railcar loading capabilities.
30 Nov 2010 --- ADM-Benson Quinn has announced that it will construct a grain elevator in Tulare, S.D. The elevator will have a storage capacity of more than 2 million bushels and will be used to store corn, soybeans and wheat from local growers. Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of 2010 and is expected to be complete in late 2011.
“Farmers have increased crop yields significantly in recent years,” said Scott Nagel, president, ADM-Benson Quinn. “ADM is responding by providing growers in the Tulare area with convenient, local storage and marketing opportunities for their crops. We are pleased to invest in a community that understands the value of agriculture.”
