ADM Appoints Gregory Morris President of North American Oilseeds Business

Morris will continue to oversee all of the company’s North American Oilseeds processing businesses, including more than two dozen crushing plants where the company turns soybeans, cottonseeds and various softseeds such as canola and sunflower into meal and oil for use in food and animal feed ingredients as well as industrial applications. Morris will also oversee ADM’s Specialty Products business, which includes the company’s Protein Specialties, Lecithin, and Natural Health and Nutrition divisions.

28 Feb 2013 --- Archer Daniels Midland Company has promoted Gregory Morris to the newly created role of president, North American Oilseed Processing. He previously served as vice president of the business.

In his new position, Morris will continue to oversee all of the company’s North American Oilseeds processing businesses, including more than two dozen crushing plants where the company turns soybeans, cottonseeds and various softseeds such as canola and sunflower into meal and oil for use in food and animal feed ingredients as well as industrial applications. Morris will also oversee ADM’s Specialty Products business, which includes the company’s Protein Specialties, Lecithin, and Natural Health and Nutrition divisions.

Morris joined ADM in 1995 and has held several merchandising and management positions since that time. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University and a Master of Business Administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
