ACNielsen wins contract renewal with Future Brands LLC.

25/01/2005 ACNielsen, a VNU business, has announced that its U.S. Beverage Alcohol Group has won a contract renewal with Future Brands LLC, a joint venture between Jim Beam Brands Co. and The Absolut Spirits Company, Inc. The agreement maintains ACNielsen`s position as Future Brands` preferred provider of U.S. national and local market beverage alcohol sales information. Future Brands sells several of the top spirit brands available in the marketplace today, including Absolut(R) vodka, Jim Beam(R) and Knob Creek(R) bourbon, and DeKuyper(R) cordials.
ACNielsen services utilized by Future Brands include the Scantrack(R) retail measurement service for sales information across the grocery and drug channels. Future Brands also relies on LiquorTrack(R), the most comprehensive liquor store sales information service available and the only source of both market-level insights and key account-specific information for the liquor store channel.
