EHL Ingredients Ramps Up Manufacturing Capacity with New UK Facility
29 May 2017 --- EHL Ingredients, a leading importer, blender and packer of food ingredients, has acquired a new UK manufacturing to develop the existing product range and further expand.
The site in Stockport, England, is 8,000 square foot of extra space to further expand the business as it continues to source new ingredients and develop its range. The company expects the new site will help increase manufacturing capacity by up to 50%, creating new jobs.
This is the 3rd unit the company has acquired on the Industrial Estate and the increase in space and workforce will also enable EHL to make improvements to its packaging and increase its stockholding capacity, as well as being able to supply products ‘off the shelf’ and shorten lead times.

Not only will it enable us to increase our manufacturing capacity, which will give us a boost in sales, but it will also ensure we can provide our current customers with a better service and keep pace with customer demands,” says Tasneem Backhouse and Naseem Haq, joint managing directors at EHL Ingredients.
“We’re also looking forward to expanding the EHL team, and will be running a major recruitment drive in the coming months.”
EHL Ingredients is an importer, blender and packer of food ingredients from around the world. From herbs and spices, to beans and pulses and dried fruit, it supplies more than 300 food ingredients to all areas of the food industry, and boasts a 200-strong organic range as well as over 70 ingredient blends.
