Corteva Agriscience, a newly formed entity that was based on the agricultural division of DowDupont that has now been spun out on June 1, 2019. The company used IFT 2019 to show how food and agriculture all connects. Trevor Jones at the company notes that it has a strongly developed oils portfolio, including omega 9 canola oil and high oleic soybean. “We have done a lot of work on seed and crop protection, as well as digital solutions for farm management, as well as farm inputs. We have done a lot of work in the biotechnology space when it comes to seed protection and a non-GMO portfolio too,” he notes. The company highlighted its traceability and transparency advantage. For the Pioneer seed brand the company featured a live video feed with farmers, where booth visitors can interact with farmers and ask them questions during the event.
