The continuing rise of coconut water

“The true coconut company” Obrigado has its own sustainable farm in Bahia, Brazil – where it has 6,000 hectares of land on which to cultivate coconuts – and also boasts its own factory at which to produce coconut products. Coconut water is the fastest-growing drink in the world at the moment, and Obrigado’s product is 100 percent pure with nothing added. The process is controlled by Obrigado from sea to bottle, as it farms its coconut trees then harvests them to bring to its factory, which is located on a farm. The juice is extracted without exposure to oxygen or light. The product was launched two years ago in Brazil and last year in Europe and the US.
