Taking form fill seal technology further

Mondini presented a solution combining the benefits of form fill seal technology and tray sealing technology. “What we have developed is a complete and new technology, where the customer has the possibility to create by themselves the tray starting from a roll of film, with almost zero skeleton waste,” says Stefano Colori at Mondini. “This means a reduction in the material to create the trays and at the same time the possibility to run on the same line Slicefresh, which is basically a bottom web that is premade on paperboard, sealed with top film.”
